The 2nd of April 2023 was the last day in our rolling school, which has been parked next to the chapel in Apora since 2005. During all these years, our teacher, Mr. Bowi has encouraged hundreds of children to read and write and learn all the basic skills, which we take for granted in other parts of the world. The children have also been participating in the Goan sports events on equal terms with the local schools. The children got dignity and have been a part of the surrounding society. Now these children will be moved into local schools. The Goan Government is now taking care, as it should be. Mission completed in Goa. Thank you to Mr Bowi, who always had a hand to hold and a smile for the children. We have shared the responsibility for this school with Lions Club in Apora.
