Mette Lange and Karin Grønborg met with Devendra Kandolkar to discuss both the challenges and achievements of the MovingSchool initiative. During visits to the schools and the hostel, students demonstrated their academic progress and presented cultural performances, including singing and dancing. Parents participated in structured meetings to share their experiences as former MovingSchool students and to reflect on how the programme has supported their children’s continued education. A central topic of discussion was the long-term financial sustainability of the schools. It was agreed that future student support should be increasingly financed through community contributions, covering both junior education and senior hostel placements. Parents with the financial capacity to support their children in pursuing tertiary education were encouraged to inspire similar engagement within their communities.
