Last year six students had taken their SSC examination, and all have passed with good marks. Among them three students have joined higher secondary, one at the Industrial Institute, and one has joined a three-year polytechnic Computer course. One of our girls finished 12th standard and achieved 81% which has allowed her to pursue her First Year of the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree program, which is a common undergraduate degree in commerce offered in India. She is the fourth girl from Moving School who has gone to university. They all have achieved this with the help of Moving School.

Two of Moving School’s girls are doing Nursing diploma courses with the help of local and international sponsorships.

There are 40 students in the hostel. among them 14 are girls. Another five parents had contacted us to get admission for their children but we have to refuse admission due to financial overburden.

Tapovan Sanstha has built a 30×30 feet hall at the hostel. This has helped with much needed additional residential space. They also donated water purification, cooler and solar plant.
